4myapp compared with Glide, Adalo, Bubble and FlutterFlow

Published

All five platforms let you build an app without writing code. The differences show up later: when the app actually has to reach the App Store and Google Play, get recompiled for every new iOS release, and be maintained by someone inside your company, in their own language. Below is the comparison on the criteria that decide that, not on how many components the editor ships.

Short verdict

  • If you want a quick internal app on top of a spreadsheet, Glide is the shortest path — but it does not give you a native build.
  • If you want full UI control and have a developer on the team, FlutterFlow goes further than any of them — provided you write code.
  • If you want to publish the app yourself and maintain it yourself, with no technical team, 4myapp covers both publishing and maintenance, in Romanian.

What "assisted publishing" actually means

Building the app is the part every platform solves. The part that stalls launches is the administrative one, and there the difference is not the editor — it is the process.

  • The developer account is opened in your company name and stays yours: Apple costs 99 USD a year, Google 25 USD once, at signup.
  • On Google Play, a personal account created after 13 November 2023 must first pass a closed test with 12 testers enrolled for 14 continuous days, after which the production-access review usually takes up to seven days. An organisation account has no such requirement — which is why it is worth opening one on the company from the start.
  • The assets the stores require — icon, screenshots in every size, description, a public privacy policy, a test account for the review team — cause most rejections, not the code.

Where the other platforms are the better choice

A comparison where we win every row would be useful to nobody. There are clear cases where we are not the answer.

  • Glide: an internal app built on top of Google Sheets, for a team, with no intention of reaching the stores. It is the shortest path to a working tool.
  • FlutterFlow: you have a developer and want to export the code and take it further by hand. It gives the most control, at the price of writing code.
  • Bubble: a complex web application with heavy business logic, where mobile is secondary.
  • Adalo: a fast mobile prototype with your own design, when you handle publishing yourself.

Other platforms in the same category

The category is wider than the four in the table: GoodBarber, AppSheet and Bravo Studio solve adjacent problems. They are deliberately left out of the matrix — a tick next to a platform we have not checked criterion by criterion would be a claim, not a comparison. One verifiable thing is worth saying though: GoodBarber localises its site across nine language subdomains and Adalo across six, and neither of them includes Romanian.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best no-code platform for mobile apps?

It depends on what happens after the app is finished. For an internal tool on a spreadsheet, Glide. For maximum control with a developer on the team, FlutterFlow. For an app that has to be published to the App Store and Google Play and then maintained by someone inside the company, with no technical team, 4myapp covers both publishing and maintenance, in Romanian.

Can I move an app from Glide or Adalo into 4myapp?

The screens are rebuilt in the visual editor — there is no automatic project import between platforms, on any of them. What does move directly is the data, through REST connectors or an import, and the developer accounts, which stay your company's regardless of platform.

Why does Romanian-language support matter on a no-code platform?

Because the part that blocks a launch is not the editor — it is the correspondence with Apple and Google: rejection reasons written in technical English, company identity verification requirements, the privacy questionnaire. On that part, a platform with no documentation or support in your language leaves you alone at exactly the most expensive point.
